Unit Menu - Edit Unit

Edit - select Edit from Unit menu in left side panel UNITS

Available settings for Unit to edit. Access for editing depends on user privileges

Main

Main contents default info about unit. Main TAB used to assign unit to groups, drivers, trailers

Main

Name - unit name

IMEI - device Unique ID

Transport model - transport brand and model

VIN / serial - device serial number (additional info)

Plate number - vehicle registration plate

Group - assign previously created group to unit. See Settings Groups…

Driver - manual assign previously created driver to unit. See Settings Drivers…

Trailer - select previously created trailer. See Settings Trailers…

GPS device - fitted device model

SIM card number - SIM card number used for device communication

Vehicle Category - select vehicle type: Light or Heavy, for roads over speeding

Counters

Mileage - select mileage counter and type mileage.
   Off - disabled. Mileage will not counts
   GPS - mileage using GPS signal (recommended)
   Sensor - use mileage sensor from device as mileage counter

Engine hours - select source for engine hours and type actual engine hours
   Off - disabled. Not counts engine hours
   ACC - from vehicle Ignition source
   Sensor - additional sensors to present engine hours

Depends on privileges some areas are greyed, not editable

Select Icons for units or upload own ones to select and select colours for arrows depending on unit status

Click on icon to change or select (default)

Select Custom to upload own icons
(size “32 x 32 pixels” .png or .svg images)

Icon

Shown icon on map - select to show icon or arrow (default arrow)

No connection arrow colour - select colour to change arrow if device offline

Stopped arrow colour - select to show different colour when stopped (default red)

Moving arrow colour - select moving arrow colour (default green)

Engine Idle arrow colour - idle status arrow colour (default orange)

Icon - click on image to change to preferred or upload own ones

Tail

Tail colour - select tail colour

Tail points quantity - select tail points in length to show moving unit with tail


Fuel Consumption

Use to get fuel usage by rates, wired fuel sensor or consumption sensor

Calculation

Source - select from Rates, Fuel level and Fuel consumption
   Rates - fuel level will show using typed rates in Rates section.
   Fuel level - from compatible device fuel sensor
   Fuel consumption - from compatible device consumption sensor  

Measurement - select l/100km or MPG
   l/100km - ( liters per 100 km)
   MPG - miles per gallon

Costs per litre - add price per liter


Rates (depends what measurement selected)
   l/100km - shows liters per 100 kilometres
   MPG - shows miles per gallon

Summer rate - add liters per 100km or miles per gallon usage in summer period

Winter rate - add liters per per 100km or miles per gallon usage in winter period

Some areas have winter period with snow and slippery roads. Fuel usage always
higher in those areas.

Winter from - select date when winter period starts

Winter to - select date when winter period finishes

Accuracy

Change default accuracy values to preferred

Accuracy

Time zone offset - select time zone if device stopped detect time. (Call for service)

Detect stops using - select one of GPS, ACC or GPS+ACC
   GPS - stop recorded if GPS location static (recommended)
   ACC - stop recorder if ignition switched OFF.
   GPS+ACC - stop, if GPS location static and ignition OFF.

Min. moving speed - select min allowed speed to exclude from trip

Min. engine idle speed - select min speed to include for Idle status

Min. difference between track points - changes drifting accuracy

Min. gpslev value - min satellites required to track unit. If ticked - Active selection

Max. hdop value -  horizontal dilution of precision. If ticked - Active

Min fuel difference detection speed - detect fuel when speed reaches selected

Min fuel difference to detect fillings - min amount of liters to detect filling

Min fuel difference to detect thefts - min allowed difference till theft detected

Min overspeed tolerance in % - allowed over speeding limit in % of road limit
  
(example: If limit 60 mph, set tolerance 10%, event detects if speed above 66 mph)

Min overspeed tolerance time in sec - detects event if time exceed allowed time

Other

Clear detected sensor cache - click CLEAR button to clear all detected sensors cache. (Used if device refitted from one vehicle to another)

Sensors

Only view of device sensors allowed for users. No edit option.

Sensors

Detects various unit activity, fuel, PTO, temperatures, doors, signal levels, etc.

List of sensors depends on fitted device type.

Service

Service

Name - name your service

Data list - show in bottom panel Overview. See Bottom panel - Overview…

Popup - notification on live map monitoring, when event triggers. See Overview…

Only one type can be selected at a time: Miles, Hours, Days.
To have all three type services create 3 new services. Tick in for:

Mileage interval (mi)- service by mileage
   add preferred interval in miles for service and last service mileage

Engine hours interval (H) - engine service by hours
   add preferred hours interval for service and last service engine hours

Days interval - service by days (used for Insurance, MOT or service too)
   add days for service interval and select last service/MOT?Insurance date

Trigger event (tick in selected type of created above service)

Mileage left (mi) - triggers event if added mileage limit reaches

Engine hours left (h) - triggers event if reaches added hours

Days left - add days to trigger event. Triggers if limit reached

Update last service - selected auto change last service
   for mileage, hours or days (for created service)

Current object counters (if user has privileges to edit)

Current odometer (mi) - auto added from unit odometer counter

Current engine hours (h) - auto added from engine hours counter
